With multitude of hiking routes of varying difficulty available through this fascinating and dramatically odd landscapes, you will be sure to make the most of your time in the largest National Park in the Canary Islands.
Choose the “Mirador de la Rambleta” to enjoy views of the Siete Cañadas and the Ucanca Valley. If you prefer the spectacular vistas of La Gomera, El Hierro and La Palma with its impressive 800m diameter crater at your feet that once housed a lava lake, take the path to the “Pico Viejo Viewpoint”.
Walk the path of “La Fortaleza” to marvel over the north of Tenerife or make the descent on foot through Montaña Blanca. If you cannot leave Tenerife without having crowned the summit of Teide, pick the “Telesforo Bravo” path and climb to the peak of Teide at 3,718m above sea level.

People with cardiovascular problems, pregnant women or children under 3 years of age are not allowed to climb the cable car due to the risk of health damage from altitude. According to current regulations, people with physical or motor disabilities are also not allowed to climb the cable car due to the risk of evacuation. It is important to bear in mind that in the event that the installations stop working for unexpected technical reasons, people who are in the upper station should make the descent on foot along mountain paths of steep terrain.
