During the cruise we pass by Belem Tower and Jerónimos Monastery bathed in golden light as we proceed to 25th of April Bridge, next to the imposing Christ the King monument. Just a few minutes later we reach Commerce Square and the Pier of Columns – the royal entry into Lisbon – admiring Alfama hill and St George’s Castle perched on top. The Lisbon Cathedral, St Vincent Convent and the national Pantheon together with Santa Apalonia train station also come into view before we make our return to Ribeira das Naus. Just before the night blankets the city in darkness, catch a glimpse of Cais do Sodré, Chiado and Ajuda Palace glowing under the burnt orange skies.
