Enjoy some free time to visit the Cathedral or to amble along the city’s historic streets. From Siena we head out on the open road through vineyards and olive groves in the heart of Chianti territory to the ancient fortified hamlet of Monteriggioni. Characterised by its intact 13th century walls, walk within the restricted perimeter of the walls and discover a beautiful corner of Tuscany suspended in the Middle Ages. Enjoy a typical lunch in a pleasant country estate, where aromatic plants bloom and the menu of the day consists in local products. Taste a selection of Chianti wines and then continue the tour to San Gimignano, also known as the “Manhattan of the Middle Ages” for its numerous and beautiful towers. Stroll through the centre before departing to Pisa, where the sparkling sight of Piazza dei Miracoli and the one and only Leaning Tower awaits.
