Set your eyes on too many Joshua Trees to count as you cruise through the marvellous Mojave Desert and go over the mighty Colorado River on your way to the south rim. Get in touch some of America’s past when you hear all about the history that lies hidden in the sand. Highlights- Get in touch with nature as you check out an abundance of Joshua Trees - Cruise right on through the Mojave Desert and be wowed by the terrain - Ride across Colorado River on the highest arch bridge there is This national treasure, one of the 7 natural wonders of the world, draws visitors from around the globe and it’s not hard to see why. Marvel at the intricate and colorful landscape and overwhelming size and just take it all in. The Grand Canyon is truly breath taking and our aim is to show you the best of the bunch from the south side, you’ll be treated to out-of-this-world views of the one of the most beautiful natural settings on Earth. You’ll be able to tick this one of your bucket list at long last! Let’s not forget that this is known as one of the hottest places on Earth! We beat the heat by whacking up the air con and muddling through the masses of Joshua Trees which are native to this desert. Although the Grand Canyon obviously steals the show and hogs the limelight, the bridge is a star in its own right. The Mike O'Callaghan–Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge gets its own slice of the pie too! This bridge is the world's highest concrete arch bridge and you’ll indeed fly over the bridge to get across none other than Colorado River. When we make it to the other side, we’ll also check out the birthplace of what’s possibly the most famous road of all time: Route 66. This pretty place is practically dripping in history which you'll soon come to know about, all thanks to your guide. Before you reach the deepest depths of the Grand Canyon National Park, stop off in Historic Williams Arizona and roam around this quaint town. With the Grand Canyon Railway and the intersection of Route 66, this small town is a real reminder of the American West which dates back to the 1950’s. You’ll get the chance to meander around the rim and snap as many photos as your memory card can handle at Mather Point and Yavapai Point which don’t fail to impress! We round things up by having a bite to eat with the most beautiful backdrop. You can pick from the following wraps: Turkey and Cheddar, Ham and Swiss, Club or Veggie.
