Perfume pagoda is located in Huong son (Perfume mountain) 70 km southwest of Hanoi. Chua Huong(Vietnamese name) is not one temple but a cluster of temples and shrines in the general vicinity of Huong son. The pagoda(s) are located in My Duc hamlet in the province of Ha Tay former (Hanoi now). Huong Tich temple was built during the reign of Le Chinh Hoa (1680-1705), by a monk who happened on the site on his way to search for enlightenment. Other shrines and temples were later built in this area to take advantage of the beautiful scenery in this area. Around 8:30 AM, the guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. Then you will take a row-boat trip to visit Yen stream, the boat journeys down a narrow flowing steam fringed by rice fields, temples and grass. You can deeply enjoy the attractive mountain views as fantastic mirror-image in the crystal water mirror of the stream en route. It will take about 1 hour to get to Thien Tru harbor. When you have arrived in Thien Tru, you will take cable car to visit the main cave where you’ll arrive at Huong Tich Cave on the top of the mountain. Next, enjoy lunch at the local restaurant at the bottom of the mountain. After lunchtime, you will see The Heaven Kitchen Pagoda and learn about Buddhism ancient architectural at Le Dynasty. Re-board your boat and sit back and relax as you head back to the pier, enjoy 2-hour road trip back to Hanoi. Your tour ends with a drop-off at your hotel .
