Begin the day with a journey to the south of Lanzarote. En-route, take in the panoramic views over the lava coastline, paying attention to the colourful salt flats of Janubio and Los Hervideros, nature's masterpieces. Be captivated by the beauty of El Golfo, a quaint fishing village and perhaps one of the most charming towns on the island.
Next, visit one of the oldest towns in Lanzarote, which serves as the gateway to the impressive Montañas del Fuego, an otherworldly paradise where water turns into steaming geysers and bushes burst into flames.
If you wish, why not opt for a camel ride to experience the magic of this place in a slow and relaxed way (only if you have selected the option).
Continue the adventure between volcanoes and craters with a visit to the majestic Timanfaya National Park where you will enjoy a geothermal demonstration before entering the route of the volcanoes. Recharge your batteries with a leisurely lunch at Yaiza. After lunch, continue through the otherworldly volcanic landscapes, heading for La Geria, the islands main wine-growing region. Here you will be amazed at the effort taken for each of the tiny vines to grow and will have the opportunity to try some of the island’s excellent wines
Finally, embark on the journey north through Teguise, the ancient capital of the island. Pass through the town of Los Valles, located at the foot of the highest peak in Lanzarote, and follow the road to Haría, located in the spectacular Valley of a Thousand Palms (Valle de las Mil Palmeras). Before the tour comes to an end, finish the tour with a stop at Jameos del Agua.
