BOAT TRIP LAS PALMAS COAST
A boat trip is great fun for all ages and you’re spoilt for choice with our two cruises in the waters off Las Palmas, the cosmopolitan capital city of Gran Canaria and one of the most important ports in the Atlantic. Jump aboard with us and enjoy the dramatic scenery in this fun and fascinating day out. You’ll see dormant volcanoes, historic castles and if you’re lucky you may even spot a playful dolphin or two or a pod of pilot whales, a common sight in these waters.
The first option consists of a four hour cruise around the harbour of Gran Canaria and the surrounding coastline. Enjoy great views of the city’ skyline – see if you can spot the Cathedral, the Castle of San Cristobal and the picturesque fishermen’s quarter of La Laja. The port itself is pretty impressive, shipping from all over the world stop here and it is now one of the most important ports in the Atlantic. We’ll also drop anchor for you to go for a swim before enjoying an on board snack.
The second option is a five hour cruise towards the popular beach of Las Conteras. After leaving the harbour, we’ll sail past the dormant volcanoes at La Isleta and El Confital beach. Don’t forget your camera – there are some amazing views of the city skyline and the 5km stretch of white sands running from La Puntilla promontory to the brand new Alfredo Kraus Auditorium. Then after a refreshing dip in the Atlantic, it’s time to savour some on board snacks.
On both cruises you’ll be accompanied by bilingual English-speaking guides. We’ll serve you a snack and a drink (water, beer or soft drink). Get the boat in exclusivity for you or for a couple with a special price or share the experience with your family or a group of friends.
