Aurangabad has been declared as the Tourism Capital of Maharashtra due to being a hub of many important historical sites in India. Two of them, Ajanta Caves and Ellora Caves, are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Bibi ka Maqbara – a tomb commissioned by the Prince Azam Shah son of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb between 1651 and 1661 AD in memory of his mother, Dilras Banu Begum (posthumously known as Rabia-ud-Daurani). It has a striking resemblance to the famous Taj Mahal. Next visit Panchakki which was a water-mill used to grind grain for the pilgrims. This monument displays a scientific process executed in the medieval era. It used to run by the force of water brought down from a spring on a mountain.
