Itinerary Day 1: Airport pickup - Hotel Airport pickup. Transfer to your hotel reserved by you, with a local speaking driver. No further service for today. Please advise of flight and hotel details in advance. Day 2: Ming tombs - Jade Carving Factory - Lunch - Badaling Great Wall - Olympic Stadium Meet the guide in the hotel lobby at around 8.00 am and continue to the Ming Tombs at Changling. The Ming Tombs is the best-preserved Chinese imperial tombs with 500 years of history. You will see Changling, which is the head and the larges tomb of the Ming Tombs and you will spend approximately 1 hour discovering the history and magnificent architecture of these burial places. Before lunch, you'll have a chance to visit a jade carving factory. After lunch at a local restaurant then you will visit Great Wall at Badaling, famous for its deep-rooted culture, elegant sights and complete military facilities – the essence of the Great Wall. Hike the amazing and astonishing Great Wall to get a lifetime memory of being a hero. Cable car is a good choice (OPTIONAL) if one wants to get to the highest point and take the whole beautiful bird view. Afterwards, transfer to the Olympic Stadium for an outside view of the Bird's Nest and Water Cube. Day 3: Tian'anmen Square - Forbidden City - Chinese Medicine Shop - Lunch - Temple of Heaven - Summer Palace - Kungfu Show/ Acrobatic Show/ Beijing Opera Meet the guide in the hotel lobby around 7.30 am, and head to Forbidden City which remains important in the civic scheme of Beijing. The central north–south axis remains the central axis of Beijing. You will have chance to visit a local Chinese Medicine Shop during the journey to experience with traditional herb medicine culture. After lunch, visit Temple of Heaven which is the venue the Emperor would personally prayed to Heaven for good harvests in ancient time. Next stop is Summer Palace, with vast ensemble of lakes, gardens and palaces, it serves as a popular tourist destination and recreational park. In the evening, you will be transferred to enjoy a Local Show theatre —please discuss with your guide which local show you choose in advance. You can enjoy a high quality performance. After the show, you will return to hotel by yourself. Day 4: Back home Transfer to the airport without assistant. Tiananmen Square is within the top ten largest city squares in the world. Forbidden City called the Imperial City, still remains important in the civic scheme of Beijing. There is a chance to visit a centre for Chinese traditional medicine culture. You will then be served with a lunch then continue to the Temple of Heaven where the ancient Emperors prayed for peace and harvest. In the temple complex the Emperor would personally pray to Heaven for good harvests. From here we proceed to a Silk Factory. Our next destination will be the Summer Palace, the largest and most beautiful Chinese imperial garden. It is a vast ensemble of lakes, gardens and palaces in west Beijing. It serves as a popular tourist destination and recreational park. In the evening, you will be transferred to enjoy a impressive Kungfu Show. After the show, you will return to your hotel on your own.
